- Email address (when creating an account or subscribing)
- Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store or see your card number)

- Pages visited and time spent

- Device type (desktop/mobile)
Local storage (not sent to our servers):
- Theme preference (light/dark)
- Academy progress (lessons completed, quiz scores)
- Language preference
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the platform
- To process subscription payments
- To send transactional emails (subscription confirmations, password resets)
- To improve the platform based on usage patterns

We do not use your information for:

- Stripe — for payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
- Google Analytics 4 — for website analytics (page views, traffic sources, user engagement). Subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We use this data to improve our content and user experience. Google may set cookies on your device to collect this data.
- Supabase — for user authentication and account management (subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy)
- GitHub Pages — for website hosting. Server access logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) are controlled by GitHub and subject to GitHub's Privacy Statement. We do not have direct access to these logs and cannot delete them on your behalf.
- Law enforcement — only when legally required
We do not share your data with data brokers, advertisers, or any other third parties.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We use the following cookies and browser storage:
- Essential: Theme preference (light/dark mode), language preference (English/Spanish), authentication session
- Functional: Academy progress tracking, quiz scores (stored in your browser's localStorage and synced to your account if logged in)
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure page views, traffic sources, and user engagement. This data is aggregated and not used to personally identify you. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
We do not use advertising cookies or targeted tracking cookies. We do not sell data to third parties.
5. Data Security
We protect your data through:
- HTTPS encryption on all pages
- Stripe PCI-compliant payment processing
- Minimal data collection (we don't collect what we don't need)
- No storage of payment card information
